The Rocktown Photography Club ceased to exist officially July 21st., 2026. At some point thereafter we'll delete this and our original web pages.
Dwindling membership, loss of our leadership team, low attendance at meetings, and the fact that most people now use smart phones, the time arrived to close the club. We had a good run. Members learned a lot and had fun sharing their photos.
The James Madison University's Lifelong Learning Institute has recently established a Photography Group made up of both traditional cameras and smartphones. A number of our members have moved to the JMU's Photography Group.
